Slices of Life in Hawaii
Spending six weeks in Hawaii was a great opportunity and a great experience. In addition to exploring the wonders of Oahu and Kauai, we got to meet other tourists as well as locals since we mostly stayed at people’s houses, and we were able to catch a glimpse of what life is really like in paradise.

I love pictures of landscapes. They’re great memories to remember places, even if it seems sometimes impossible to capture the beauty of a scenery (how frustrating!).
The photos I have gathered here are a bit different. They depict slices of life, in other words, moments of the ordinary life through scenes in different places of Hawaii. Some small moments of life, instances we would probably not remember without these photos.
We say a picture is worth a thousand words and I think it’s particularly true in the pictures shown below. I chose black and white in the manner of street photography because I feel like we can focus more on the story behind the image.
The credit for most of these pictures goes to Simon of course. Feel free to let us know what you think of them in the comment section!
